Wichita Thunder lose in Central Hockey League finals

For the first time since 1998 local professional minor league hockey team Wichita thunder made it to the Central Hockey League (CHL) finals, for the fourth time in the team's history. The thunder was the CHL Governor cup winners for having the best record during the regular season.
