Katie Loescher is a senior at Newton High School and is co-editor-in-chief of the Railroader with senior Sarah Brill. She has been on the yearbook staff for three years, two of them as co-editor. She is also involved in the National Honor Society and the Quill and Scroll Honor Society.
Outside of creating and editing the yearbook, Loescher enjoys participating in volleyball and track, eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinking Dr. Pepper, watching ABC Family’s original series “Pretty Little Liars,” taking ridiculous MacBook pictures with Sarah Brill, quoting “Mean Girls,” spending time with her family and boyfriend, taking naps and having a great time.
After graduating high school, Loescher plans to play college volleyball and become a nurse. She is currently deciding among Rockhurst University, Pittsburg State University, Emporia State University and Wichita State University.
