Brittany Stark is a sophomore at Newton High School. She contributes to the yearbook staff through photography, page designing, and story writing. Brittany ran cross country for the first time this year and continued her second year of soccer in the spring.
She moved to Newton in December of 2005 after living in Southern California for over 10 years. Brittany is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attends early morning seminary (scripture study) before school with her older brother.
She has two brothers and one sister who will be one years old in May. Brittany loves her family and enjoys learning about her heritage. She comes from several cultures including German, French, English, Dutch, Indonesian, Chinese and American of course. Two of her favorite dishes are {tofu, eggs, and rice} and {Soto Ayam}.
When she was younger, Brittany took gymnastics and piano lessons, but hopes to someday be able to play violin. Brittany loves learning and enjoys all of her classes, particularly French, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, English, History, and yearbook. Last year she was in RaileRobotics, but this year she is in Chess Club for the second year and LERO (Law Enforcement Related Occupations) for the first time.
She is currently undecided of where to attend college and what career to take up, but knows she wants to do and be something great where her talents can be exercised the most. Brittany might be considering Brigham Young University Idaho, Utah or Hawaii, but sure would not mind an ivy league college. She is pretty much up for anything that comes her way.
