Ashley Murrell is a senior at Newton High School. She is currently the editor-in-chief of the Newtonian and has been involved in the journalism program all of high school. Other programs she’s involved in include Spanish, Track, Big Brothers Big Sisters and her church youth group. Some of Ashley’s hobbies are fishing, camping, playing board games, reading, and being with family and friends. Oh, and of course working on newspaper. After high school Ashley plans to attend Washburn University in Topeka, KS and major in elementary education.
